The September change record
The September 11 Newsroom announcement changes the desktop story. Build’s alpha expansion includes Serbia and Singapore, desktop access, an asset library and iterative control. It also describes analytics and monetization management from the app. Availability still varies by age and region.
This is stronger evidence than the earlier mobile-only checklist, but not a complete Windows/macOS compatibility matrix. Keep desktop access and region access as separate checks.
| Area | September status | Next action |
|---|---|---|
| Build access and controls | Regional expansion | Check the tab and controls on your account |
| Analytics / monetization management | Described as current at RDC | Inspect the actual game management options |
| Scene Generator | Later 2026 plan | Prepare a scene brief, not a launch promise |
| Chrome player | End-of-2026 target | Improve the Experience Details Page |
| Wallet | December invitation rollout | Read the business eligibility conditions |
What the creator statistics mean
Roblox reports approximately 9,000 Build-published games and says 71% of people who had created with Build had not previously used Studio. Both figures use data through September 1, 2026, not through this page’s check date. They describe adoption, not the probability that a new game will succeed.
For a first-time creator, the useful response is to make the first loop testable. Record the control, the goal and what should happen after failure. Our prompt workspace helps organize those choices without spending a Roblox prompt.
Choose the next development step
- Need account access? Use PC/Mac status, not the future browser-player page.
- Need more control over the result? Start with iterative control and the asset-library brief.
- Need an earning plan? Separate monetization from paid promotion.
- Need deeper manual changes? Read the existing Studio handoff consequence before editing.
The integration roadmap does not yet cancel the documented one-way Build-status change for a Studio-edited version.
Future distribution is a preparation track
Roblox Everywhere, the web player, offline play and 2D engine tools need their own implementation and rollout checks. Keep a small test project and a known-working published version. Do not advertise access before it works for the intended audience.
The official RDC roadmap also announces a November reduction of the entry benchmark from 250 to 100 HEP. That is future policy, not today’s rule. Use Select readiness and Audience Reach for present preparation.
