Preserve the moderation details

Open the moderation email or in-product notice and record:

  • the affected account username;
  • the game or asset identifier;
  • the stated violation reason;
  • the date of the action; and
  • the appeal route offered in the notice.

Do not post private account or identity information to an unofficial guide site.

Use the documented appeal path

  1. Follow Violations & Appeals when the moderation notice offers that link.
  2. If the notice directs you to Roblox Support, use the official form.
  3. Provide the username, affected game information and a concise explanation.
  4. Explain the specific reason the decision merits review.
  5. Submit once and monitor the official status channel.

Roblox’s appeals documentation notes that eligibility, route and deadlines can depend on the moderation action and region. Follow the current notice rather than an older generic instruction.

Creator responsibility

The creator remains responsible for published game content, including AI-generated material. Review every scene, text element, character and interaction before publishing.

Requests involving disallowed content or third-party brands can be rejected during generation or moderation. Original content and a deliberate playtest reduce avoidable risk.

Appeal boundaries

An appeal asks Roblox to review a decision. It is not a moderation bypass, a guarantee of restoration or permission to resubmit the same disallowed content.

Common problems

  • The notice is ignored: the notice is the source for the reason and available route.
  • The appeal omits the game ID: include the identifiers Roblox requests.
  • The same appeal is submitted repeatedly: follow Roblox’s current limits and status process.
  • The creator blames generation alone: published content remains the creator’s responsibility.
