Roblox Build Tab Missing
First identify whether the Build entry is absent, visible but locked, or opening an empty or loading surface. Those are different failure states. Use the missing-feature guide for an absent entry; do not treat a visible page that fails to finish opening as the same problem.
Symptom
Build is not visible where expected, or selecting its visible entry fails to reach useful content.
Immediate action
Record the navigation and resulting screen state before trying a remedy.
Diagnostic branches
- No Build entry is visible in the relevant app surface.
- Use the retained not-showing guide to check the documented requirements and reopen step.
- The entry opens an explicit requirement notice.
- Record and address that requirement through the legitimate account workflow.
- The entry opens an empty area with no progress indication.
- Switch to the empty-tab diagnosis and describe which headings or controls remain visible.
- The entry opens a continuing loading indication.
- Use the loading-state record, including whether ordinary app navigation still responds.
Least-destructive change
Classify the visible boundary without deleting projects, clearing app data or altering account identity.
Retest
- Use the same account and app surface for the comparison.
- Record whether the entry itself changed or only its contents changed.
- Stop calling the tab missing once a visible entry opens a distinct state.
Escalation
If the state cannot be resolved by the relevant documented path, send official support the redacted state trace, platform, observation time and exact notice. Do not claim a cause that the trace does not establish.
Working notes
Make a short screen-state record before changing anything. Note where you expected the entry, what navigation is actually visible, and what happens after an available control is selected. Do not search for an invented desktop button based on a mobile instruction.
The important boundary is navigation versus content. If selecting Build produces a titled area or a loading indicator, the entry exists even if its contents are unusable. That observation moves the investigation away from why the tab is missing and toward the specific opened-surface problem.
A locked state is different again. Preserve the displayed requirement, then follow the legitimate account flow relevant to that notice. Repeatedly selecting the same control without recording the requirement adds no evidence about whether the account condition has been met.
Use a cropped or redacted screenshot only if it helps show the state. Keep private account information out of public reports. The state map localizes the point where progress stops; it does not identify a backend rollout assignment or diagnose the account.
Examples
- State trace: ordinary navigation visible → Build entry absent → no Build surface opened. Follow the broad missing-feature requirements path rather than reporting a blank editor.
- Different trace: Build entry visible → selected → title and spinner appear, but no useful content follows. Record this as an opened loading surface, not a missing tab.
- Locked trace: Build entry visible → an age-check requirement is shown. Keep the notice as the next decision point instead of searching unrelated project or publishing settings.
