Roblox Build Generation Never Starts

If generation never appears to start, trace the request from editable text to send acknowledgement and the first visible response. A message still in the input, a blocked send and an acknowledged request with no output are different states. Avoid duplicate submissions while that boundary is unresolved.

Symptom

The reader expects generation after a send action but has not observed it begin.

Immediate action

Identify the original draft, send acknowledgement and first response before submitting again.

Diagnostic branches

The draft remains in the input with no confirmed send.
Inspect the action and acknowledgement rather than claiming an executed generation failed.
An explicit notice blocks or refuses the request.
Use the relevant usage, account or content-policy guidance without bypassing the notice.
The request is acknowledged but no output is visible.
Record the last event and current state without inventing a start timeout.
A result is already present in the intended project.
Inspect it before repeating the prompt or starting another concept.

Least-destructive change

Preserve the original request trail and avoid overlapping sends, purchases or project recreation.

Retest

  • Typing, selecting Send and observed acknowledgement remain distinct events.
  • A refusal or requirement is not diagnosed as a silent generation failure.
  • The original request can still be connected to any later output.

Escalation

Give official assistance the redacted send trace and exact notice if the request state remains unexplained. Do not include private account material or declare a backend cause based only on missing output.

Working notes

Start with the intended project and prompt draft. Record whether the text is still editable, whether the send action was selected and whether a notice or message entry appeared. Do not infer successful submission solely from remembering a tap.

Read an explicit notice before diagnosing generation. A usage condition, content refusal or account requirement may stop the request before output begins. Preserve the exact wording and follow its relevant legitimate path rather than hiding the same request inside new phrasing to evade a restriction.

If the request is acknowledged but no output has been observed, keep that state distinct from an explicit failure. Record the last visible event and any progress indication. The reviewed guidance does not establish a universal start deadline, and this page does not diagnose a network or service cause from silence.

If output is already present elsewhere in the current project, investigate that result before sending again. The aim is to establish what happened to the original request, not to create enough overlapping requests that a later response becomes impossible to attribute.

Examples

  • Send trace: draft text present → send selected → usage notice shown → no request acknowledgement observed. The next task concerns the notice, not repairing a game that has not been generated.
  • Acknowledged-without-output trace: a message entry or response acknowledgement is visible, but no generated result has appeared. Preserve that evidence and the observation time without asserting an official timeout.
  • Already-produced result: the intended project's content has changed even though the expected progress surface was not noticed. Inspect the actual output before repeating the original prompt.
