When to Contact Roblox Support About Publishing

Contact official assistance about publishing when the actual notice, unavailable process or unexplained outcome cannot be resolved through the documented next step. Send the affected game, candidate, action and result—not every unrelated troubleshooting detail. A generated content fix, a moderation appeal and an account-access request should not be merged into an ambiguous ticket.

Symptom

A publishing issue remains unresolved and the creator needs a precise official assistance request.

Immediate action

Choose the unresolved question and correct official route before assembling a minimal relevant packet.

Diagnostic branches

The notice offers an actual moderation review.
Use that process rather than a generic publishing complaint.
The publishing interface has an unexplained failure.
Describe the candidate, action and observed result without inventing a policy cause.
A case already exists.
Use meaningful new evidence or corrections in the appropriate existing process instead of duplicating the same request.

Least-destructive change

Use existing relevant evidence and skip risky reproduction or unnecessary private-data collection.

Retest

  • The request has a specific unresolved question.
  • Candidate and prior release are not confused.
  • Sensitive data and unsupported causal claims are omitted.

Escalation

Use Roblox's official help or the notice's offered route. Response time, remedy, review outcome and access remain unpromised.

Working notes

Choose the question before collecting more information. Does the creator need clarification of a returned safety issue, help with a failed interface, or review of an actual moderation decision? Use the route offered by the notice when one exists. Do not label an ordinary publishing error an appeal without a decision to appeal.

Build a minimal event record around the intended candidate and the last action. Include relevant identifiers, occurrence timing, exact message and safe attempted steps where appropriate. Avoid passwords, identity documents, private invitation links and unrelated private conversations in public material.

Distinguish observation from reproduction instructions. Existing evidence may be enough to describe the problem; another publication, charge, crash or destructive change is not required merely to make a report longer. If reproduction would risk work or live players, explain that it was not repeated.

Review the packet for contradictions before sending. An earlier successful version is not the failing candidate; a later correction is not proof of what the earlier error contained. For an existing case, use the case-update guidance to provide only new evidence or corrections through the appropriate process rather than starting duplicate reports.

Examples

  • Focused request: the intended candidate returned the quoted error before a final publish result, while the prior public version remains reachable. Ask about that action outcome without claiming the existing game was removed.
  • Route distinction: a moderation notice offers review. Follow that route instead of burying the appeal request inside a generic description of a slow publishing screen.
