Before opening Build

Check all four access conditions:

  1. Use an Android mobile device.
  2. Confirm Build is available in the account’s region.
  3. Confirm the account holder is age 9 or older.
  4. Complete the required age check.

Then fully close and reopen the Roblox app. Build appears as a tab inside the app when the account and device have access.

Start a first project

Open Build and describe one simple game loop. For example: a small arena where the player collects energy cells before a timer ends, with a visible score and a restart button. Keep the first request narrow, playtest it and add one change at a time.

Device claims to avoid

Roblox has not published a Build-specific minimum Android version, RAM requirement, chipset list or complete supported-device table on the current Support page. Do not treat a third-party device list as an official requirement.

Common problems

  • Build is absent on Android: check region and age-check eligibility before assuming a device bug.
  • Generation pauses: Roblox Support recommends typing please continue.
  • AI usage is empty: playing is still allowed; AI changes resume after reset or an eligible Robux top-up.
  • A project is ready for deeper editing: review the Studio handoff before adding custom code.
