Roblox Moment Not Showing for a Build Game

A missing Moment can mean no capture control, no completed submission, a visible review issue or simply no observed distribution. Identify which outcome is actually missing. A recorded clip, an uploaded gameplay video and a Moment shown to another person are not the same state.

Symptom

An expected capture, submission, public Moment or distribution outcome is absent.

Immediate action

Name the missing stage and distinguish Moments from gameplay-video thumbnails.

Diagnostic branches

The expected capture action is absent.
Record account/surface availability without inferring a hidden unlock.
Only a local recording is confirmed.
Inspect any actual authorized submission state rather than claiming publication.
A notice identifies a content issue.
Follow the legitimate review/remediation path without disguising the same material.
Publication is acknowledged but another viewer does not encounter it.
Keep distribution separate from creation and avoid a placement promise.

Least-destructive change

Preserve the original accurate recording and status evidence without repeated uploads or speculative gameplay changes.

Retest

  • Local recording, submission and observed distribution are distinct.
  • A detail-page video is not mislabeled a Moment.
  • Dated launch wording is not used as proof of current account access.

Escalation

Use current official Moments guidance and the actual notice for unresolved availability or status; no universal feed refresh interval is supplied here.

Working notes

Start with the actual surface and control. Support describes gameplay capture for Moments, but testing availability remains in conflict and account access should not be inferred from a tutorial or a dated launch plan. If the expected action is absent, record that availability question rather than repeatedly editing the game.

If a clip exists, distinguish a local recording from any acknowledged submission or displayed publication state. Preserve the actual message. Do not label a private file a public Moment, and do not invent an upload or approval step that the current interface does not offer.

Check whether the report actually concerns a gameplay video thumbnail on a detail page or Home. That is a related but separate presentation workflow with its own source guidance. A video appearing on a detail page does not establish that it became a Moment or received feed distribution.

For a visible moderation or policy notice, review authentic gameplay, rights and the stated issue through the official path. If a valid available publication is acknowledged but another person does not encounter it, keep distribution unverified; no fixed delay or placement is promised.

Examples

  • State distinction: a recording is saved locally but there is no observed submission acknowledgement. The missing outcome is not yet recommendation distribution.
  • Workflow distinction: an approved gameplay video is visible on the game's detail page. That observation does not establish a separate Moment in a feed.
