Roblox Build Age Check Failed

If the age-check flow explicitly fails, follow the displayed outcome and current official assistance before returning to Build troubleshooting. An unsuccessful check is not proof of a Build bug, an incorrect age estimate or a particular device problem. Do not repeatedly submit private verification material without a clear next step.

Symptom

The age-check workflow reports failure or stops before a confirmed result.

Immediate action

Identify the last completed stage and preserve any non-sensitive outcome text.

Diagnostic branches

The flow could not start or closed without a result.
Record an incomplete attempt and use current official assistance for the shown method.
An explicit failure explains a next action.
Follow that legitimate instruction without substituting an undocumented workaround.
The check completed but the age outcome is disputed.
Use the official age-correction guidance rather than diagnosing a failed Build check.
The check completed and Build alone remains missing.
Switch to post-age-check Build triage with the completion state preserved.

Least-destructive change

Keep the current account state and consult the exact official method guidance instead of repeating sensitive submissions speculatively.

Retest

  • Use the displayed completion or failure result as evidence.
  • Keep method failure separate from disagreement with an age outcome.
  • Do not infer a technical or identity cause from a generic error.

Escalation

Contact official Roblox assistance through the provided help path when the failure gives no usable next action. Supply redacted stage and error details, never credentials or verification material through this page.

Working notes

Identify the failure stage: unable to start, interrupted submission, an explicit unsuccessful result, or a completed result whose age outcome you dispute. Those are not interchangeable. A correction of an age outcome belongs in the legitimate correction workflow, not in advice for a check that never completed.

Preserve the exact error and method name if they are visible, but leave personal document numbers and images out of your troubleshooting notes. A redacted message is often enough to explain where progress stopped. The site cannot process identity evidence or determine which method your account should be offered.

Use only options actually offered and appropriate under current official guidance. Do not interpret a generic failure as permission to borrow an ID, change birth information for access, disable safeguards or pay a third party to verify the account.

Return to Build eligibility only after the account outcome is understood. If the check remains incomplete, that is the unresolved dependency. If it completes but Build remains absent, use the post-check sequence rather than continuing to treat the check as failed.

Examples

  • Failure record: method displayed / stage reached / exact outcome / account completion state / official next action shown. Keep unobserved fields blank instead of guessing why the service declined.
  • Interrupted versus failed: the flow closed before a result appeared. Report an interrupted, unconfirmed check rather than claiming the account received an explicit rejection.
  • Different problem: completion is shown, but the displayed age outcome is believed inaccurate. Read official correction guidance; this is not resolved by repeatedly attempting to open Build.
